MTV began streaming a 99-second clip from the Thundercats screening and panel at Comic-Con International on Friday. The Thundercats remake is schedule to air on Cartoon Network on Friday nights starting July 29.
Studio4C, the anime studio producting Thundercats, worked with Warner Bros. Animation in the past to produce parts of The Animatrix, Batman: Gotham Knight, and Halo Legends. The original Thundercats animated series first aired in 1985. Spanning four seasons and 130 episodes, the series went on to produce a collection of action figures and comic book adaptations throughout the rest of the decade.
