Kamen Rider Fourze TV Series' Preview Streamed

1st astronaut Rider" in live-action franchise's 40th anniversary show next month
The Japanese broadcaster TV Asahi began streaming a preview for the new Kamen Rider Fourze television series this weekend. The 13th live-action special-effects series in the Kamen Rider franchise's modern Heisei era will premiere on September 4. The new series will feature the "first astronaut Rider" to mark the 40th anniversary of Shotaro Ishinomori's Kamen Rider franchise and the 50th anniversary of the first manned space flight. The "Rider version of the 'adolescent school drama'" will center around high school students who dream about outer space. The main character is Kentarō Kisaragi, a "bad boy" who transfers into a new school as a second-year student. When Kentarō meets a schoolmate named Kengo Utahoshi with a mysterious "Astro Switch," the fateful switch turns on, and Kamen Rider Fourze is born.

  1. All of this makes me shake my head..but actually the suit isn't half bad, except they ruined it with the 'shuttle' helmet.

  2. The biggest pity in the design is that it would look great if not for the colorful playstation buttons on the limbs, the oversized belt, and the shape of the helm.
